Style Showdown: Jennifer Aniston Vs. Angelina Jolie
On a general scale, we can assume the record is Jolie 1, Aniston 0, because we all know Angelina somehow walked away from the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith with Brad Pitt, who rapidly transformed from Jen’s husband to Angie's father of the year. For the record, I was Team Aniston all the way. But since all’s fair in fashion, we’re giving the ladies a chance to really duke it out. Will Jen’s California cool or Angelina’s bombshell beauty prevail? We'll give you our breakdown, then weigh in with your vote.

Just FYI, The Informers Is Terrible
American Psycho was based on a Bret Easton Ellis novel, and so is The Informers, but don't let that trick you into thinking The Informers is going to be good, like American Psycho was. In fact, the response to The Informers when it premiered at Sundance was so overwhelmingly negative -- like laugh-out-loud, slow-down-to-look-at-the-train-wreck negative -- that I'm honestly surprised the distributor had the guts to proceed with the theatrical release.

Fighting Flails Around the Ring
Fighting, oddly enough, needed more fighting. And better dialogue. OK, OK, some semblance of plot coherence would have been nice, too. But the dialogue and plot issues would have worked out if they'd inserted more action, so I've got to start there.

The playbook has been established. The Dark Knight is the final leg of comic book ambition, finally taking the genre into high art. The Incredible Hulk shows what you can do with CGI, anger, and 'roids, while Iron Man emphasized the laughs and joy that can come from being clever, rich, and all powerful.
